Bio:

Bartle is a curmudgeonly dwarven smith of Orzammar. Talented and high-born smith who hated dwarven politics, but loved the constant attention of the young lady dwarves. After an anvil accident rendered him useless in producing a high-born son, the ladies abandoned him.

As the final member of his clan, he found himself alone and unwanted in a place he detested. He left for the surface where he intends to craft fabulous objects, grow incredibly wealthy, and attract many beautiful young ladies who will love him for his wealth while tending to his every need during his extremely comfortable retirement.

Personality

Bartle is a sucker for fine ladies, but also holds fine craftsmanship in equally high regard. He keeps with him a mysterious perfect amulet of superior craftsmanship that he wishes he could replicate.

Relationships

Bartle only knows a few folks on the surface, such as Farley, dwarven merchant who buys and sells goods Bartle creates, and Baldo, rival human smith, also very talented, cranky, and old.

Bartle has lots of respect for Terrowin’s sense of duty and devotion to an ideal, but thinks Dindi is living the wrong kind of life, exposed to the wide open expanses of space and wilderness.
