The Mark of the Fade
Arcane Warrior Tradition
|Arcane Warrior Features|
You gain proficiency with simple and martial weapons. In addition, as an action you can enter a Combat Magic stance. While in this mode, you can use your Intelligence in place of your Strength or Dexterity modifier when making melee weapon attacks. However, any spell you cast in Combat Magic mode requires a concentration check with a DC equal to 10 + spell’s level to cast.
When you reach 5th level, you gain proficiency with all armor and shields.
Beginning at 12th level, you can use your action to make two weapon attacks. If you have any movement left for the round, you can move between these attacks.
Starting at 16th level, you can cast shield once per round without using your reaction.
When you reach 20th level, when you activate the Combat Magic stance, you can shift yourself so you exist partly in the real world and partly in the Fade. This is called a Fade Shroud and it gives you a ghostly countenance that is obvious and unsettling to many.
Attack rolls against you have disadvantage for 5 minutes, or until you exit your Combat Magic stance. Once you have used this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.
